Doctor & Hospitals

Pediatrician : Dr. Chu In Sook

Dr. Chu, a pediatrician, works together with Houm to provide newborn’s physical assessments right after birth. Likewise, after discharge, we connect you with Dr. Chu for further vaccination and pediatric care.

Network Tertiary Hospitals

When a transfer is needed, we have a close partnership with Soon Chun Hyang, Gang Nam Cha, and other tertiary hospitals so that the patient can have continuity care with complete communication between the hospital and us even after the transfer.

Birth Companion Partnership

We have in-house midwives and doulas. However, if you need extra support (such as desiring home birth, wanting a companion closer to your area...), we closely collaborate with an outsourced team that shares our values.

Internships and Preceptorships

Welcome to those eager to learn and improve their clinical and hands-on skills.
Houm Clinic has extensive experience in comprehensive maternity care training, including midwifery, postpartum care, and lactation support. We also offer opportunities to experience various medical surgeries, such as classic open surgeries, laparoscopic procedures, and newborn surgeries like circumcision and frenectomy. You can experience everything from bedside manners and functional medicine to the latest scientific technologies.

We offer

· Clinical training for domestic and international student nurses/doctors, high school internships, and short-term training.
· Internships and preceptorships for student midwives, including Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) as a preceptor for Utah Midwifery College, and Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) worldwide.
